Vincent Billiard appointed

vincent-balliard-general-manager-st-regis-singaporeThe St. Regis Singapore announced the appointment of Vincent Billiard as its new General Manager.

Vincent brings with him over 18 years of hospitality experience in luxury properties. Prior to his move to Singapore, Vincent held key leadership roles in several Ritz-Carlton hotels, and was exceptionally involved in the opening of 10 other properties across a portfolio of brands including Ritz-Carlton, Edition and Bvlgari.

Most recently in Shanghai, Vincent led the launch of the high-profile Bvlgari Hotel and Residences Shanghai, where he helmed the property as General Manager. During his tenure there, he successful positioned the hotel as a leader in RevPAR and rates; and at the same time garnered strong accolades for excellence in hotel operations.

Vincent’s hospitality career with Marriott International first began in 2001 at The Ritz-Carlton, Dearborn, Michigan, before he moved over to The Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner, USA where he served as Food and Beverage Manager.
His first foray into Asia took place in 2002 at The Ritz-Carlon Jakarta, Indonesia, where he took on the role of Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage. Thereafter, he spent over two years in Japan in management roles before stepping up in the capacity of General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Tianjin in 2013.

The St. Regis Singapore will be the first property Vincent will manage under the St Regis Brand.

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is part of Marriott International. The first hotel was opened in New York City over a century ago and the brand now has over 40 luxury hotels and resorts around the world.
