The Argyle, Boutique Hotel Opens in Hatton

Settled on three acres in the Kuda Oya tea estate offering 38 rooms, Hatton’s first luxury boutique hotel, The Argyle, opened in January.

The Argyle – Hatton’s first luxury boutique hotel – offering 38-rooms opened in January 2019. Settled on three acres in the Kuda Oya tea estate, it was previously known as Argyle and covered 500 acres of cultivation in the twentieth century.

The hotel pays tribute to the Scottish heritage of the estate and the rooms are named after significant figures of Scotland. The Argyle has a restaurant, bar, heated outdoor pool, gymnasium, spa, and sauna.

The hotel website describes how “the unique styling and design of our 38 rooms encompass the feeling of a quintessential experience in the hills, catering to your ultimate comfort and relaxation, engulfed in a blanket of luxurious modern amenities and the most spectacular views.”

The hotel aims to target discerning travellers from European countries, Australia, and the Middle East.
