The total number of international tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka during October 2018 was 153,123, up 0.5% on October 2017.
The top three source markets continue unchanged for the sixth month running: India leads at 25%, followed by China at 12% and the United Kingdom at 12%.
Arrivals from India, the largest source market, grew 3.2% from 2017 to 38,169 tourists.
Tourist numbers from China, the second-largest market, fell 13.6% from a year earlier to 18,882.
The UK, the third-largest market, shows strong growth with a 41.2% increase from 2017 to 17,673 arrivals.
Total tourist arrivals for the year up to 31st October were at 1.89 million, growth of 10.6% in the same period last year.
